This I Believe

I believe that people should help other people. It's important at least just to ask if they need help.

Some times people help me. Once I went to a store and my car battery died. One man asked me if I needed help. I said yes I do. I was grateful that he asked since I did not have my cell phone with me. He got out his jumper cables and he pulled his car next to my car. He attached the jumper cables to his battery and to my battery. I started the car. I was glad my car started right away. As he unhooked the jumper cables from my car battery I thanked him. Because of his help I was able to drive home.

Some times I helped other people. When my brother worked in construction he needed me to help him. I had to pick up the scrap wood and throw it in a pile and I had to carry lumber where he needed it. In the beginning of a day I had to get the tools out of the truck and bring it in the house where we worked.

It's nice when people help you or when you can help other people like the guy helped me with the car battery. If people would not help other people the world would be different and people wouldn't be that friendly.
